New study of the controversial Nebra sky disc



In the latest issue of Antiquity magazine a team of archaeologists debate over the possible function of this Bronze Age disc, found in Germany in 1999.  Rather than a calendar or astronomical tool, they suggest it may have been used for shamanic rituals.     Link: BBC News
