Mystery glowing ball at Santa Fe Courthouse

A court room in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is buzzing with questions after CCTV footage revealed a glowing ball of light meandering through the car park last Friday.

One theory put forward is that a bug ambling across the camera's lens picked up the sun's light and was thus superimposed on the scene.  This seems more believable than another suggestion -  ball lightning.  Others have mentioned an incident that happened 20 years ago at the courthouse, in which a man was killed after bringing a rifle to the building and taking several people hostage - could the light be his ghost finally exiting the building?

Sally Saunders, assistant to the District Judge, seemed pleased at any rate that it had happened.  “Now we have something to talk about,” she said.
